Default Cherished horse, pregnant cow airlifted to safety from flooded Thompson River farms
A small menagerie of marooned animals — including a full-sized horse and a pregnant cow — trapped by floods on a patch of road west of Kamloops were flown to safety Monday using a helicopter, a livestock harness and a jury-rigged feed tote net — and a lot of ingenuity.
