Wifi 6 Booster/Original Booster

I previously had 5 of the original Telus boosters setup throughout my house. A tech recently replaced all 5 with 1 of the new wifi 6 boosters and explained it would provide “whole home coverage”. Of course it doesn’t and although it’s much better close to the booster, towards the far points in my house the signal strength and speeds drop significantly. What are my options? I still have the original boosters. Can I add a few of them to work in tandem with the wifi 6 boosters? Is the wifi app compatible to run both? Should I harass Telus for a 2nd wifi 6 boosters? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
