Default Ontario beekeepers stung by devastating parasite that may impact honey, fruit growers in other provinces
A tiny parasitic mite called the varroa destructor is being blamed for significant honey bee colony losses in Ontario that may be devastating for beekeepers this spring, possibly even impacting pollination services to orchards in provinces like Quebec and New Brunswick.
