Default Why northwestern Ontario was left out of the province's surveillance program for deadly deer disease
A detection program for chronic wasting disease continues this year in Ontario. The northwest region of the province, however, isn't officially involved in the surveillance area for the illness, but that doesn't mean hunters are off the hook.
