Default After provincial police solve 22-year-old crime, time for Montreal's cold case unit to step up, advocates say
When the Sûreté du Québec solved a killing from 2000, it was the first big success for its revamped cold case squad. In contrast, Montreal's squad seems to have concentrated on more recent cases, leaving victims' families wondering when their turn will come.
