Post Alberta sovereignty act would give cabinet unilateral powers to change laws
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has tabled the Alberta Sovereignty within a United Canada Act — legislation that would allow the province to circumvent certain federal legislation deemed a threat to Alberta's independence.
