Default Thefts of copper wire are up across Canada, and likely won't stop any time soon
Utilities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick say thefts of copper wire are up this year. An expert who has studied the problem says the culprits are driven by high prices for the semi-precious metal and he doesn't see that changing any time soon.
