Default School meal programs struggle to serve growing number of students in need as food prices climb
After weathering nearly three tumultuous years of adapting to restrictions and lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, school nutrition programs across Canada are now struggling with ever-rising food costs and a surge of students in need. Ottawa says it's working on a national school food program.
