Post Alberta's tech sector hit by layoffs after boom investment year
Last week, Calgary-based tech firm Benevity laid off 14 per cent of its staff, citing current market conditions. Analysts expect more layoffs in the sector are likely in the months to come, though Alberta could fare better than some of its peers moving forward.
