Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday. We're in Sage Hill and yeah, totally relate.

Fish Creek Park is my go-to for a stress-relief walk. Something about being in nature in the middle of the city just resets everything.
For anyone dealing with seasonal depression in Calgary - the winter can be tough despite the sunshine. Light therapy lamps are a game changer. Got mine on Amazon and it's helped enormously. |

Having a toddler changes this - yoga studios in Calgary range from beginner-friendly to advanced. If you're just starting out, try Kinjo Sushi in Dalhousie. Really welcoming instructors who don't judge.

Welcome! This forum is actually one of the best resources for everything Calgary. Way better than asking on Reddit because the people here actually live in the neighborhoods they talk about.

Just did a refinance on our Calgary home and the process was actually really smooth. Rates are better than The two of us expected. Shopped around using a broker.
Hope that helps. |

Respectfully disagree here. for co-working spaces, Platform Innovation Centre downtown is great. Good community, reasonable rates, and the networking opportunities are solid.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in West Springs before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.
Good luck! |

The secondary suite market in Calgary is really strong. We have a legal basement suite in Deer Ridge and the rental income covers a big chunk of our mortgage. Worth the investment for sure.
