The sense of community in Taradale is something special. We have block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, and everyone knows each other by name. You don't get that everywhere.

My EV handles Calgary winters surprisingly well. The range drops about 30% in -20 but I charge at home overnight so it's not an issue for my daily commute. Zero regrets.
One more thing - i work downtown and live in Willow Park. The commute is honestly not bad compared to what I dealt with in the GTA. Plus you can actually afford a house here. Check CalgaryPrices if you want to see how much values have changed in that area. Interesting data they have there. |

Just saw an amazing show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. Calgary's arts scene doesn't get enough credit. The Calgary Philharmonic is world class.

Just a heads up about Beddington - the new development is bringing in a lot of traffic. Still a great area but something to consider if you're on the main roads.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Chaparral before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.
