We've been doing a tour of all the coffee shops in Calgary and Phil & Sebastian in the East Village is probably our overall favorite. The space is beautiful too.

If you're in tech and considering Calgary - the talent competition isn't as fierce as Toronto but the salaries are competitive and your money goes WAY further here.
Good luck! |

For families with young kids, Lincoln Park is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.
One more thing - my two cents - the biggest adjustment when moving to Calgary is the dryness. Invest in a good humidifier and moisturizer. Your skin will thank you. Would love to hear other perspectives on this. |

Welcome aboard! If you just moved to Calgary, definitely explore the different neighborhoods when you get a chance. Each one has its own personality. You'll find your spot!
Hope that helps. |
