We moved from Bridgeland to Rangeview last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

We rent in Point McKay and our landlord just raised the rent 15%. Seriously considering buying at this point. The math is starting to make more sense to own.

Hope that helps.

If you're looking for a gym that's not packed 24/7, try some of the smaller independent places outside of the core. The prices are often better and the equipment is just as good.

Solar panels on our roof in New Brighton have been producing great. Calgary's sunshine hours make it one of the best cities in Canada for solar. Paid off the investment in about 7 years.
