I drive from Elbow Park to downtown every day. The trick is leaving before 7:15 AM or after 9:00 AM. That 30-minute window makes a massive difference in commute time. GFG!

Blizzaks are hands down the best winter tires I've had in Calgary. They handle the ice and packed snow way better than my old all-seasons. The difference is night and day.
Hope that helps. |

We moved from Point McKay to Parkdale last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

I've had a different experience actually. the market right now is competitive but not insane like Toronto or Vancouver. You can still get a nice detached home under $600K in a good neighborhood if you're willing to look at Oakridge or Cliff Bungalow.
Good luck! |

Calgary's tech scene is actually growing fast. A lot of companies moving here from Toronto and Vancouver because of the lower cost of living and talent pool.
