Yoga studios in Calgary range from beginner-friendly to advanced. If you're just starting out, try Sidewalk Citizen Bakery in Killarney. Really welcoming instructors who don't judge.

If you're looking for things to do when it's freezing outside, the escape rooms in Calgary are a solid option. Did one in Cornerstone last week and had a blast.

The secondary suite market in Calgary is really strong. We have a legal basement suite in Copperfield and the rental income covers a big chunk of our mortgage. Worth the investment for sure.

Cheers!

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. the outdoor fitness scene in Calgary is amazing. Free bootcamps in the parks during summer, running groups, cycling groups - there's something for everyone.

Hope that helps.

Ship & Anchor is a Calgary institution. Been going there for years. The patio in summer is one of the best spots in the entire city.

The gaming community in Calgary is bigger than you'd think. There are regular LAN events and gaming cafes. Also some great shops for PC building components.

Having a toddler changes this - the road trip to Edmonton for the Battle of Alberta is an annual tradition for our group. The drive up, the game, the trash talk - it's the best.

Anyone in Calgary doing home automation? I've got a full smart home setup and the Calgary weather monitoring is really handy for automated blinds and heating.
Calgary tech meetups are worth checking out. The YYC Data Science and Calgary AI groups both have monthly events with really smart people.
