Been thinking about this a lot lately.
Based on my research, thanks for bringing this up. I feel like a lot of newcomers to Calgary don't realize how great the community forums and local resources are. Also check out CalgaryFinder if you haven't already - lots of good local listings.

The sunshine here is no joke. Over 300 days of sun makes such a difference for mental health coming from somewhere with grey winters.

One more thing - anyone else notice how much better the restaurant scene in Calgary has gotten? Like we're legitimately competing with Vancouver and Montreal now on the food front.

I love how active this community is. Real people sharing real experiences. This is why I keep coming back to this forum.

I think people don't give Calgary enough credit. Coming from Toronto, the quality of life here is way better for the money. Plus no PST!

This is super helpful, thanks for sharing. I've been wondering about this exact thing. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hope that helps.

Ha, my partner and I were just talking about this yesterday. We're in Acadia and yeah, totally relate.

Just moved to Livingston and can confirm this. The neighborhood is fantastic, especially the access to Prince's Island Park. Highly recommend for anyone considering it.

Calgary's biggest asset honestly is the people. I've never lived somewhere where neighbors actually say hello and help each other out like they do here.
