If you're looking for things to do when it's freezing outside, the escape rooms in Calgary are a solid option.
The Calgary International Film Festival is genuinely world-class. If you haven't checked it out, this year's lineup looks incredible.

Best seats at the Saddledome on a budget: upper bowl press level, center ice. You can see the whole play develop. Way better than being in the corner lower bowl.

Heritage Park is one of Calgary's best attractions and it's right in our backyard. Great for families, couples, or just a chill afternoon exploring history.

National on 10th has a great vibe on weekends. Good food, good drinks, and the crowd is usually pretty mellow. Perfect for a laid-back night out.

Condo owners in Calgary - just be careful with special assessments. Read the reserve fund study before buying. Learned that lesson the hard way.

Having lived here for a while, we sold our place in New Brighton last month and it went in 4 days. The market in that area is really hot right now, especially for family homes.

Ngl, we moved from Sage Hill to Cougar Ridge last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

Hope that helps.

We bought our place in Altadore back in 2021 and the value has gone up about 20% since then. Calgary real estate has been solid for us. I keep an eye on things through CalgaryPrices for the market trends.

The Battle of Alberta never gets old. The atmosphere when the Oilers come to town is unlike any other regular season game. Pure electricity.

Calgary's brewery scene deserves way more recognition. Pigeonhole is doing incredible things with their seasonal releases. The craft beer quality here rivals anywhere in Canada.

Anyone else have a similar experience?
