Alberta Health Services wait times can be long but the quality of care in Calgary hospitals is actually really good. I've had great experiences at Foothills and South Health Campus.

For a chill night out, Kensington has great options.
Speaking from experience, the live music scene in Calgary is alive and well. Broken City, Palomino, and the King Eddy all have great acts regularly. Support local musicians!

For anyone looking at new builds - visit the site at different times and weather. Some areas flood in spring, some have awful drainage. Ask the neighbors, they'll tell you everything the builder won't.

Good luck!

We moved from Auburn Bay to St Andrews Heights last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

Cheers!

For families with young kids, Cliff Bungalow is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.

Hope that helps.

Just did a refinance on our Calgary home and the process was actually really smooth. Rates are better than I expected. Shopped around using a broker.

I've had a different experience actually. board game cafes like Hexagon Board Game Cafe are perfect for a chill evening. Way more fun than you'd expect. Great for groups.

Ngl, best pizza in Calgary and I will die on this hill: Sidewalk Citizen Bakery. Their wood-fired oven produces absolute perfection. Fight me if you disagree.

Respectfully disagree here. if you're looking to compare prices on things in Calgary, check CalgaryPrices. Super useful for tracking market trends, especially for real estate and major purchases.
