Welcome to the forums! Don't be shy - ask anything about Calgary. Whether it's neighborhoods, restaurants, transit, or winter survival tips, someone here will have the answer.

One thing I've learned: gas prices at Costco on Deerfoot are usually the cheapest in the city. Worth the drive and the lineup if you're filling up a big tank.

We moved from Sunalta to Scarboro last year and it was the best decision. Quieter, more green space, and our property taxes are actually lower.

Lived in Calgary my whole life and this is spot on. The city has changed a lot recently but the core of what makes it great is still there.
Cheers! |

Hey! Glad you found us. I've been on these forums for years and the community is genuinely awesome. Looking forward to your contributions!
Also worth mentioning: my two cents - the biggest adjustment when moving to Calgary is the dryness. Invest in a good humidifier and moisturizer. Your skin will thank you. Hope that helps. |
