My recommendation: spend a weekend in Chaparral before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Been in West Springs for over a decade. It's changed a lot but still has that small community feel which I love. Saturday mornings at the farmer's market are the best.
