Working from home in Calgary has been great. Set up a proper home office with a standing desk, good monitor, and decent chair. Your back will thank you.

Hope that helps.

Been thinking about this a lot lately. Calgary really does punch above its weight for a city its size. Great food, great outdoors, friendly people, reasonable cost of living.

Hope that helps.

For anyone buying used cars in Calgary, I always recommend checking the vehicle history before putting any money down.
For what it's worth - blizzaks are hands down the best winter tires I've had in Calgary. They handle the ice and packed snow way better than my old all-seasons. The difference is night and day.

The public swimming pools in Calgary are awesome. Village Square and Southland both have great facilities and the lane swim times work for early mornings.

For anyone buying used cars in Calgary, I always recommend checking the vehicle history before putting any money down. Sites like FullVIN give you the full history report so you know exactly what you're getting.

Best seats at the Saddledome on a budget: upper bowl press level, center ice. You can see the whole play develop. Way better than being in the corner lower bowl.

Go Flames Go! Tonight's game was exactly what we needed. The energy at the Dome was incredible. This team has so much potential.

The outdoor fitness scene in Calgary is amazing. Free bootcamps in the parks during summer, running groups, cycling groups - there's something for everyone. #Flames

AWD is nice for Calgary winters but honestly good winter tires on a front-wheel drive car will outperform all-seasons on an AWD every single time. Don't skip the tires thinking AWD will save you.

Hope that helps.
