Marda Loop is a great choice! We've been here for 7 years. The walkability is good, tons of local shops, and the community association is really active.

If you're looking for value, the NE communities like Taradale and Martindale are actually really nice and way more affordable. Don't let the stereotypes fool you.

For families with young kids, Evanston is hard to beat. Great playgrounds, safe streets, and the school is within walking distance for most residents.

My recommendation: spend a weekend in Copperfield before buying. Walk around, check out the local shops, talk to people. You'll get a feel for whether it's your vibe pretty quickly.

Cheers!
