Go Flames Go! been thinking about this a lot lately. Calgary really does punch above its weight for a city its size. Great food, great outdoors, friendly people, reasonable cost of living.
Good luck! |

Ngl, the Battle of Alberta never gets old. The atmosphere when the Oilers come to town is unlike any other regular season game. Pure electricity. no cap

First time buyers - my biggest advice is don't skip the home inspection. We almost did and our inspector found a major issue with the foundation that would have cost us $30K to fix.

From my experience, stampede is just around the corner and I'm already excited. Say what you will about it, but there's nothing quite like Calgary in July. The whole city transforms.

On a related note with the Flames, i'd recommend driving through Cornerstone at different times of day before you commit. Traffic patterns and noise levels can vary a lot between morning and evening.

If you want authentic Vietnamese, head to the NE along International Avenue. White Elephant is our go-to but there are honestly like 20 great spots within a few blocks.
Good luck! |
