Hard agree on the winter driving thing. I'm originally from the coast and the first winter here was an eye opener. But you adapt and honestly snow tires make all the difference.

Our electricity bill this winter was shocking. If you haven't already, look into the regulated rate vs. fixed rate contracts. Can make a big difference depending on your usage.

Would love to hear other perspectives on this.

Dude, been tracking Calgary gas prices and they fluctuate a lot week to week. GasBuddy app helps find the cheapest station near you. Usually saves 5-10 cents per liter.
