I think people don't give Calgary enough credit. Coming from Toronto, the quality of life here is way better for the money. Plus no PST!

My family moved to Saddle Ridge last year and we couldn't be happier. The kids' school is great, the parks are beautiful, and the community events are fantastic.

I'd say this thread is gold. Saving it for when my friends from back east ask me about Calgary. Pretty much covers everything. Hope that helps!

Couldn't disagree more actually lol. I've had the opposite experience but hey, that's what makes Calgary interesting - everyone's got their own take on things. Hope that helps!

I work downtown and live in Aspen Woods. The commute is honestly not bad compared to what I dealt with in the GTA. Plus you can actually afford a house here.

My family moved to Royal Oak last year and we couldn't be happier. The kids' school is great, the parks are beautiful, and the community events are fantastic.
Hope that helps. |

Just moved to Auburn Bay and can confirm this. The neighborhood is fantastic, especially the access to Canada Olympic Park. Highly recommend for anyone considering it.
Good luck! |
